Despite being well into adulthood, brothers Doug (Chris Kattan) and Steve Butabi (Will Ferrell) still live at home and work in the flower shop owned by their dad (Dan Hedaya). They exist only to hit on women at discos, though they're routinely unsuccessful until a chance run-in with Richard Grieco (Richard Grieco) gets them inside the swank Roxbury club. …the whole package feels like it’s been in a retro time-capsule yet still comes up box fresh. Sure, it’s a silly, lightweight film that plays like the extended SNL sketch that it is, but who cares? Sometimes a little light relief is in order…

Plot line delightfully juvenile and presages that cinematic classic Step Brothers but of course these guys are blood brothers. Some amazing party scenes and well pitched cameos. Tear jerker at the end but won’t spoil it. A movie for the ages especially for man child nation. As with most Will Ferrell or Adam Sandler movies if you see an abysmal critic rating you are guaranteed some comedic low brow delights to keep you guffawing guiltily at your own idiocy.
