Jinx Might Get Her Own Spinoff
The series finale of Arcane came with epic fights, incredible music, and, of course, no small amount of heartbreak. As the characters fans had come to know and love over the years finally clashed in a battle for the fate of Piltover, indeed for the fate of Runeterra itself, one character who stood out in the finale was Jinx. This is no surprise, but after spending an entire season piecing herself back together to try and use her chaotic brilliance for good, Jinx managed to rally the citizens of Zaun to strike back against Ambessa Medarda's forces. The short lived reunion between her and Vi though was interrupted when Jinx seemingly sacrificed herself to take down their mutated father, Vander.
Despite Vi and the rest of the world believing Jinx is dead, there is some hope that this may not actually be the case. Evidence found by eagle-eyed fans, as well as information seeded throughout the show, suggests that Jinx not only survived but has now moved on from the city she grew up in, preferring to make a new life for herself free from all the baggage that had taken a toll on her mental and emotional well-being for so many years. Of course, this isn't just empty speculation, so here is all the evidence that points to Jinx's survival.
Jinx's Heroic Sacrifice
After the explosive ending to the first season, it was hard to imagine that Jinx would find a way to turn things around and become a hero. Yet, season two took her through the emotional ringer. Without Silco in her life, Jinx was lacking a purpose, but found one in looking after the mute orphan girl, Isha. Though she had no interest in being a rallying point for Zaun, Isha believed that Jinx could be much more than just a symbol of rebellion. For Jinx, though, Isha was a bright light in an ocean of darkness. Looking after her gave Jinx purpose and no small amount of joy as the two became a little family. Then, when Warwick was driven into a frenzy thanks to Viktor's first physical death, Isha ended up sacrificing herself to stop the raging Warwick.

This left Jinx emotionally devastated, and she finally accepted that everyone around her suffers. She almost ended her own life before being talked down by Ekko. He had just come back from an alternate timeline where Jinx was not only good, but happy. He now knew that there was still good within her, and he tried to find (after many rewinds to prevent her from dying). In the end, Ekko's words got through to Jinx, and she decided to honor all those who she had loved and lost by fighting for Zaun's future alongside her allies. Rallying the undercity, Jinx led a surprise attack on the Noxian forces just as Piltover seemed to have lost, briefly turning the tide in their favor and reuniting her with Vi.
Things quickly deteriorated from there when the full force of Viktor's automaton army arrived, including an enhanced Warwick, now under Viktor's control. They effectively neutralized everyone save Ekko and Jayce. Once Viktor was talked down by Jayce though, there was nothing keeping Warwick in check and Jinx had to save Vi from being mauled to death by their now lost father. The two ended up dangling above the Hexgate reactor, and though Vi tried to save Jinx, she deliberately disabled her gauntlets so that she and Warwick would fall into the reactor, which exploded upon impact. With there being no logical way to assume she had survived, Jinx was presumed dead by everyone, including the heartbroken Vi and Ekko.
Evidence Points to Jinx's Survival
Despite the tragic circumstances, there is evidence to support the idea that Jinx survived. First, it is important to bring up Jinx's current state of being. In the first season, she was enhanced by shimmer as a consequence of the Singed saving her. This gave her her trademark pink eyes but also came with notable physical enhancements. Her reflexes and senses were much faster now, and Jinx had displayed an inhuman level of speed when in dangerous situations. The way one can note when she uses this ability is the trail of pink light left in her wake. Thus, fans who slowed down the footage of the episode just before the reactor exploded noted a streak of pink light dashing away before the actual detonation.

How Jayce's Adaptation in Arcane Finally Makes Him an Intriguing Character
Jayce was a mundane champion in League of Legends, but Arcane finally made him intriguing.
Later, Caitlyn could be seen examining the layout of the Hexgate, noting that where Jinx fell and where that streak was headed would have been a direct course for the vents that led out of the tower, providing Jinx a possible means of escape. The next bit of evidence ties all the way back to the very first episode, back when Jinx was a child. When she and her brothers and sister were crossing the roofs of Piltover, young Powder noted a zeppelin flying overhead. She confidently promised that one day she would ride in one of them. The very last shot of the series was that same zeppelin flying across the sea, followed by the words "The End" written in the glitch effect associated with Jinx. All of this provides Jinx not only with the means to escape, but even showed that she likely rode away on a childhood promise.
This all poses the biggest question: Why? Why, if Jinx did survive, did she not just return to let Vi know that she was okay? The answer comes in the form of Jinx's hallucination of Silco while she was imprisoned following Isha's death. In her depressed state of mind, Jinx imagined a conversation with Silco, where he spoke about how people get trapped in a cycle of violence that never really solves the problems they got angry enough to fight in the first place. His advice to Jinx was that the best way to break the cycle was to walk away entirely. Jinx, after finding the will to live again, may have taken his advice and decided a clean break was necessary. She had done too much damage to Piltover and Zaun, so leaving them behind would free everyone from the trouble of trying to sort through the pain.
Jinx Might Get Her Own Spinoff
Many fans were disappointed by the news that Arcane's second season was its last, but the creators of the show made it clear that the show's ending was designed to set up new stories to be told across the world of their IP. For example, Mel Medarda had assumed control of her mother's Noxian forces after defeating her in combat, likely leading to her story being one of the first examined. If Jinx survived, as all the evidence supports, then one day she might return in her own new storyline.
- Arcane's finale set up many potential new stories to be explored later.
- Jinx's survival could position her to head her own new show.

Arcane Season 2, Act 3 Review: An Underwhelming Finale to a Modern Masterpiece
Despite having almost everything going in its favor, Arcane Season 2, Act 3 brings the beloved show to a lukewarm conclusion.

Hers would likely be a tale of building a new life for herself. Jinx's mental health has been in fluctuation for a while now, but Season 2 was arguably more stable than for her than season one was, barring that severe bout of depression she struggled with in the last two episodes. With no connections tying her down anymore, Jinx might get to enjoy exploring Runeterra, seeing what his unique genius and penchant for chaos could bring her way. Of course, someone like her could never stay away from trouble for long, even if it's not what she would want at first.
Overall, if the series did allow for Jinx to have an exit strategy, then it is likely that there are further plans for her down the road. Jinx has been a major success among fans. Her flair and personality are major points of interest, but her struggles with mental health difficulties have been a source of examination and praise from many different sources. She is an ideal character to get her own personal show, especially if it begins to focus on her finally healing from the wounds of her traumatic past.
